  • Do you have a team that’s similarly gifted and competing with one another? Or is your team built to complete one another?
  • What types of strengths and gifts are prominent in your team?
  • What skills is your team lacking?
  • In what ways can your team complete one another and avoid unhealthy competition?

Social Media

  • Teams either compete against their leader or complete their leader.
  • Like attracts like, which means leaders must make an intentional effort to recruit a well-rounded team.
  • Are you looking for ways to complement the leaders above you, or are you competing for their job?
  • Being on a team of people just like you might be more fun, but it’s not good for the ministry. The best teams are diverse.
