James 1:19-20 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

An Angry Man Harms Others

  1. Creates an anxious environment
  2. Puts fear in his girlfriend/wife damaging intimacy
  3. Breaks his children/grandchildren damaging legacy
  4. Sets his daughters up for domineering romantic relationships
  5. Sets his sons up to be broken or bullies
  6. Quickly empties relationship accounts he slowly invested in

An Angry Man Harms Himself

  1. Is not enjoying the Fathers’s heart
  2. Is not expressing the character of Christ
  3. Is not experiencing the fruit of the Spirit
  4. Is harming his health
  5. Is lonely and isolated
  6. Is often manifesting male depression
