In order for a leadership team to grow and be effective, it needs to be organized into smaller teams with dedicated focus and specialties.

- How is your leadership organized? Is it one big team over everything, or teams within a team?
- How big is your church/organization? Do you need more leaders and teams?
- Do the policies or organizational chart you have in place hinder you from putting together the best team for a task?
- Is there any kind of specialized team your church/organization needs? How will you go about creating it?
- What sorts of decisions does your team make? What decisions do other teams within your team make?
Social media
- In large churches/organizations, one big leadership team at the top doesn’t work. There needs to be a chain of command.
- When everybody is forced to be a generalist, you don’t get the benefit of a specialist.
- Jesus had a leadership team of 12, but he didn’t limit himself—he organized & sent out various teams, groups of 2 to 70.
- As an organization gets bigger, you gotta have teams that make certain decisions and have authority over certain matters.
- Big teams need smaller teams within the team
